List of Medications Flagged for Quality Concerns by Drug Control Department

The administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, through its Office of the Assistant Controller Drugs, has issued a notable alert regarding drugs of not standard quality (NSQ).

This significant move aims to ensure public safety and uphold the quality standards of pharmaceutical products in the region.

The alert, issued in February 2024, highlights specific drugs and batch numbers that have been flagged as not meeting the standard quality requirements.

The drugs in question, along with their batch numbers, date of manufacture (DOM)/date of expiry (DOE), and the manufacturer’s details, have been disclosed by the controlling authority.

For any queries or concerns regarding this alert, individuals are encouraged to reach out to the Office of the Assistant Controller Drugs/Controlling Authority, Drugs and Food Control Organisation, U.T. Ladakh, located in Dambuchan Leh. Contact can be made via email at controllerdfcoladakh@gmail.com or by phone at 01982-251190.

This proactive step taken by Ladakh’s Drug Control Authority underscores the commitment to safeguarding public health and ensuring the quality and efficacy of pharmaceutical products available in the region.
